So I definitely considered this for a bit, but I guess I don't need a work specific $24k vehicle.
So feel free to snipe if you want.
Ridiculous low miles, must have been a dealership parts truck.

Would the added weight of a battery swap in say, a Honda Pilot, help with potential rollover issues or does the physics not work with that either?

I postulate that properly located it might counteract the weight of the driver and actually increase the stability of the vehicle.
Though I defer to someone with more knowledge of physics and static and dynamic load calculations than myself to confirm this."timberridge is terminally vapid" -- a fortune cookie in Yueyang

And how much did you figure the driver weighed?

The mechanic advised the same. It wasn’t obvious to me. I have not had a chance to do this yet, it’s been raining or dark or I’ve been working against hard deadlines.
But I got the black gorilla tape “sealant” on the crack rubber of the sunroof. No leaking the past few days. That’s a nice improvement.

So I've pretty much come to the conclusion that everything used between about $2500 and $15k is just varying degrees of nice that will either crap out, be a hassle or be more expensive to keep running then you want it to be. I think what it comes down to is what your pain threshold is.

Not really those either unless 10+ years and 200k+ has become painless. 2010 Rav 4's with 150k are going for $12-15k unless they're thoroughly beat, then they drop to about 8k. CRVs are all beat and rusty. I looked at a couple of each today along with 2 Pilots. Do their owners take classes in how to fuck up your car in parking lots?

Have you ever looked at an element? Sounds like it might be a good fit for you.
