Took a stroll up North. Spent a few days riding the unfrozen snow, riffles are the equivelant of pow days. Camped in style like I always do, even big god slept in the cougar tent.

Caught a few from the pontoon first float, buddy that brought a float tube found it epic conditions, heh. He swore that off and waded the rest of the weekend.

Took an evening float and didn't catch a thing, but it didn't matter. It's lonely being a predator.

Finally got on some Stripers on the fly. Went out last year with http://www.capefishing.net/. He lives in the same campground as my father and Capt. John is a great guide. We unfortunately got skunked on the outing lat year (his first skunk in 15 years) so we headed back out last Thursday and we were on fish on the first cast. Landed 4 stripers and a blue and had a few other takes and one blue that snapped off close to the boat. We headed towards Old Silver to try to find some Albies to get a slam but they had moved out of the area.
