Ahahaaha. Enough with you. Goin' riding. Anticipating epic dirt roosting after the tamp-down last night. I love how certain corners silt in with organic shit. First guy through gets to roost the shit out of it. Climbing nice and slow, stop to puff one at the stream. Up, up, up. Down. Should be better than it's been all week today. Get it.

You realize that makes you sound a bit of a pompous arse?

I just find bunny hops and j hops and every other kind of hop over logs annoying. Does nothing for me, but can I do it? Yeah sure. Much rather climb up an over some techy granite and ride a knife edge or power through some turns.

Just like riding over big roots. I find it annoying these days. I still ride over them, but does nothing for me. Been there, done that...kind of thing.

Funny thing is while building we still aim for all that shit to make it as difficult as possible. The newness of riding a line like that is fun I guess, but after riding it multiple times I get tired of it. The granite never gets old.

Really. So when you're hauling ass at a log you what? Slow down and see-saw over. I find airing over tall logs at speed to be one of the most fun moves on trail. Timing, skill, consequence. It's my skill-set. Some friends drop me on the climbs....I drop them in the fast tech. It's all fun. I like high, skinny log rides. Rocks, ridges, featured trail, that makes me happy. I agree that riding exposed rock and ledge is always fun. I always seek it out when scouting new trail. I like big roots a lot as well. They make great take-offs and can allow you to clear long sections of trail in a single leap...keeping it smooth and fast. Epic dirts out there today.

And fork homey. Awpin log on full sissy bikes is way too easy as you just preload the sissy from front to back and eject up n ovah. Kinda hot today

Dave, you rip. Most riders don't at your level. I don't. I can just get from point A to B pretty quick and the rougher, more climby or DH the better. Racing at a level where you have to be fast in all situations to podium or win made me a better rider. Obstacles are opportunities, not a disruption. Logs, rocks, roots mess with flow?! That's just friggin comedy.
