Maybe the staff suck at communicating (I was fucking hungry and waited to get food because they said the bus would be there any moment - for an hour and a half, buses are supposed to be every half hour) . Maybe I was annoyed by how long it took to get my luggage in the International arrival area. Whatever the cause, I am not excited to do that again.
Yes, JFK sucks. And that's my top complaint. Horrible signage and communication, served with an incredibly rude attitude when you encounter a near human.

isn't that just a function of New York?

Apologies to any new yorkers, but I can tell when I board a flight to NY, the people on the flight tend to be pushier, less patient, ruder, ect.

Been keeping an eye on wild wings's website, and it looks pretty dismal.

I normally drive down from Westchester.
Last time my parking at the long term was $275 for 13 days.
    They have Shake Shack, too.
Parking is $39/day now at LGA but $17/day for indoor parking at the Marriot across the street then take the hotel shuttle. Nope not easier than JFK at all. At JFK just park in the long term lot, take the air train for free right to your terminal and done. Works out about the same really but food choices are way better at JFK.

The biggest problem with HPN is it costs double to fly in/out of there. No biggie if you can use miles but if you have to pay it's no good. Sometimes SWF or HFD are reasonable alternatives if flight schedules work out for you.

Yeah, under $40 to get exactly where you want to be.. and not have to hump your bags... I almost always take the cab route... if not, it's a friend or car service.

It's fairly late, maybe 8:30pm. I know taking public transit may not make much sense at that time, but money is tight right now, and spending $30+ extra to save 30-40 minutes seems like money poorly spent.
I hear there's 44" this season at Kmart. Bring your snorkel!
