For my 88wrens I increased the side bevel to 2 and it increase its carving ability on hard pack.
The rest of my on3p skis are 1/1. But I carry a gummy stone when I ski the 88’s.

I think the custom sale is on email is pretty damn cool. The complete jeff102 graphic is money and builds nicely on the 2020 model, while the cross cut picture is really informative. Great email Iggy&team.

I found it. He said they are available on custom. Getting ready to order woodsman 102. Need to decide if I want the ti or not? Who skied wren ti last year?

Thought someone may be curious about this info--

    20/21 ON3P Jeffery 108 @ 186, slightly stiff from the prototype/blem sale, weights-- 2163g and 2179g.

The flex feels very close, but slightly softer, to my 193 Praxis MVP with 3.5 flex. Softer at tip and tail, then ramps up nice and stiff underfoot.

    ON3P SKIS Discussion

What are estimated ship dates for customs ordered now?

184 BG 108 tour, sleet camo top sheet looks like what I’ll be ordering. Waiting on other 2021 modes to drop though, want to see what all the new topsheets look like.

Good one, guys! Can't wait to see some actual weights on these new cores. Can't quite decide if I should consider 50/50 as I'm really quite covered in the light-ish 108 mm category. Maybe a full-fledged 116 mm BG tour.. Hm...

    ON3P SKIS Discussion

Holy shit those are some sexy builds...! I so badly want to get a pair of 108 Billy’s in a 189 with the Mango top sheet, but with 189 Wren 108s and brand new Woods 108 in a 193 would probably be a bit excessive...! No doubt one of these weekends when I am boozing I will hit purchase the skis that is in the cart...

The Mango Surprise might be my favorite top sheet that ON3P has ever produced...

And the new custom builder is slick.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of this years topsheets.

Also: I picked up a pair of 181 j98 demos from Al. Was a lark that the shorter length could make a fun summer ski. Did some patch days and it’s too short for me so I’m passing them along.

They’re posted on local Craigslist because shipping has gotten SO expensive but if anyone’s interested let me know. I’m ok to sell at a small loss.

Sorry guys. Yes same on the Woodsman 102. Don't take this as we're cutting all the long skis, but we sell so few long skis getting hard to even keep the ones we have. I think 191cm+ skis are about...3% of our production right now, maybe less. A couple points.

One thing to know about our production is that with our skis - it isn't like I can just order more from another factory. So adding a length is its own molding, cassettes, templates, on top of all the design and prototyping time/costs. So there is a lot of costs to develop additional sizes - so the burden to add long (or short skis to be honest - we outright cut the shortest size of the Jeffrey 116 and Woodman 116 this year) is high. Hard to justify for only a few skis.

Second - while we're always working to improve our process, our output is basically maxed out right now. So we are constantly having to balance what we offer with what actually sells. Here is how that plays out.

Option 1 - we keep offering, say, a 191cm Jeffrey 116. We make 25-30 pairs. We're left with 5-8 pairs at end of the year - all of which have to be sold on sale.

Option 2 - we move that production over the other models - say split 8-10 pairs each of the 176, 181, 186 Jeffrey 108. All will sell out before skis go on sale - less production changes over - less marketing push - less graphic work - less production management - less inventory management - etc.

Fiscally, option 2 made sense. But we have maybe 15-20 SKUs that fall under option 1 right now. I've joked that we could exist on maybe 10 SKUs, but that is likely true (we have 70ish).

In terms of factory and business efficiency, there are merits to cutting SKUs and there has certainly been discussions about just cutting bottom 10 SKUs each year for 2-3 years. Flip side is - we want to offer as many options as we can - so hard balance.

We're a bit blind for how the 102 will do in terms of sales distribution. If it matches 108 - I think good chance 191cm gets added for 2022, or sooner. If it matches 96, then likely no.

As things stand now - if we hear from enough people ask for the 191cm - we'll revisit in the fall and see what would take to bring to market this year. But right now focusing on the sizes we know sell.

Edit to add - our 186 is most brands 189, 191 most brands 194, so if we listed our skis like most brands likely might not be having this convo.
I found this reply very insightful, so thought I should quote it here to prevent Iggy having to answer the same questions here.

    Nice customs above!

I'll take death, skulls and evil 10/10 over the pillow fight graphics Can't wait for 2021 C&Ds - they are usually pretty solid.

Anyone ski a prototype of the 108 BG this past season? I'm really curious about a RES ski in that size range now that I sold my pair of 15/16 Steeple 102s and am in need of a daily driver of sorts.

So a 186 Jeff 108 tour should be under 2kg, right?

Yep. Sounds like the 50-50 would also be under 2kg
