Anyone been on the new Wren 102 Ti? Curious how it compares to the 108 Ti. The Pro looks really tempting as well.

Turn radius is quite a bit shorter on the 102. Effective edge is about the same. I have not skied it... but I think it’s a safe bet that it’ll be a wren 108 that edges a bit better and is a little more lively.

    Sounds pretty awesome.

The Wren 110 is more of a departure in terms of shape. The tail is flatter. Looks like a little more early taper in the tip.

    Also sounds pretty awesome.

I’m curious about both 186 and 191 in the tour or 50/50 layup If you’re just dropping weights in the thread.

Can’t speak for cy, but I bet he’s a 186 sort of cat

Thanks for the info, hopefully I can try one out this season.

Finally rustled up a pair of 174 goats for Ladydoc. They are apparently "Quite sturdy and stable but lack finesse".

I told her to point it and get back to me

My two absolute favorite top sheets on the Goat... I have the one on the left on my 193 SGs and one day want to figure out a new ski purchase using the top sheet on the right...

    Nicely done...!

If anyone remembers the Wren 112 (paging Adrenalated), the new 110 Pro is pretty much that ski from my understanding as far as shape and rocker is concerned.

Yeah, that's my understanding too. It's significantly more of a missile than the other Wrens (in a good way).
I would buy 110 Pros if I could ever kill my 112s

    I have some Wren 114's.

It sounds like from this you think the 110 will be even a little more chargy?

If they’re like the old wren 112 they will be a stronger variable charger, but float less than the 114

That is correct. They are the lower rocker profile and longer radius that the 112 had. Fucking TRUCK city. But the 114 is more versatile.

I'll add too that the 112 (and presumably 110 Pro) is not a great pow ski. I mean, they're not BAD, they're pretty wide after all, but you don't buy that ski as your dedicated pow ski. Kinda like you don't buy a Billy Goat to ski groomers, although they handle that well enough.

Once things get chopped up, however... you better hold onto yer dick on the 112s. That's where they shine.

Looks like the 187 Woodsman 108 Tour sold out on the website. Was thinking about it pretty hard (and trying to get my boot situation dialed first), but it's better for my wallet that they're sold. Hopefully someone here scored and puts 'em to good use!

Just in case it needs to be restated, love the Woodsman 108.

So much fun, instantly clicked and felt right at home on em like it hadn't been 8 months since I'd last stepped into em.

Finally got out on my new softer Jeffrey 108’s. They’re EXACTLY what I hoped they would be... They ride like a 108mm version of my Caylors. Tips and tails a little flappy when running flat, but lay ‘em on edge and they trench like a mofo with a nice “pop” out of the turn. Loading the tails and then popping off little rollers is a blast. Super happy with my new DD’s!
