I got the kids out on their ON3Ps yesterday for the first time. Jain (the boy) has a “cold dead hands” love for his Candide 1.0 Jrs., so he waited till the second half of the day for fear of missing out on the deep morning snow on his own terms. Morgan (the girl) said she immediately felt comfortable on the 161 Jesse. She skied steep and low angle pow with equal joy all morning, and treacherous dust on refrozen crust in the afternoon. No complaints and I don’t think she’ll be wanting to ski on anything else any time soon. Jury’s out for Jain on the 151 Charlie Murphys, as he only got on them for the gnarly part of the day, but he hucked a 12’ cliff onto a shit landing platform and runout, and came out laughing, so it’s looking promising.

Question for you ON3P fanboys. Any large dudes out there rocking ON3P? I saw the BG and the C&D were both only offered in a 189. Worried they'll be too short. 6'3 210lbs.

That 189 is longer than a lot of companies’ 19x.

Hey Brundo, here’s my 2 cents.
I’m about 6’3” 225.
BG’s are awesome and as already stated they run long compared to most other brands. However, I do find that I wish they were a little bigger in certain situations. They don’t float all that great for me in low angle pow. Also, I haven’t quite nailed the conditions yet, but I think in deep variable chop, where you are going into deeper piles the tips can sink for me.
No experience with C&D’s, but I would guess that would help with flotation.
I took out some 1.5 flex Supergoats for the first time today. Problem solved! I had been searching for a standard flex but beggars can’t be too choosy. These might be less versatile but they are powder rocket ships!
Where do you ski and how do you ski? Depending on your answers, the collective can probably help steer you.

Good for hovering over the pow too, apparently

The ski would be for central idaho. I do a lot of tree skiing (sometimes very tight trees) and do my best to find the steep stuff but it can be kinda hard (mountains just aren't as steep here). Will be doing 1-3 annual trips to Grand Targhee/Jackson Hole or the SLC resorts. I ski hard (I think) and will do 20' cliffs but not much of a flipper/spinner. Spend 90% of my time off piste. Looking for something to compliment the Praxis MVP I have now and replace my Nocta Air for the resort.
