Yep I would lean stock 177cm as well. Quite a bit more stable than 176cm Kartel 96, but won't require you to be going down the fall line as much as the Wren 108.
Seriously, this cant turn into yet another ON3P thread....

A Woodsman 126 would certainly be quite the ski. Would take a good bit of interest to get there, though.
I was looking at the black wren custom and noticed on the site it said it is the stiffest ski you make. Is it stiffer both longitudinally and torsionally stiffer than the 108 ti?

What I don't understand is why the SuperGoat is 1.5x stiffer that the normal BillyGoat? I ride the 189 Goats and while I don't think I need any extra stiffness, I would have loved the extra length on the SG for those powder days.

I was just worried that 1.5x stiff might actually reduce the SG's float relative to the 189 BG, so I went BG.

You can get the stock goat flex in the supergoat. Many guys have that ski.

That would be me... 6'4" and 205 lbs and went SG in std flex... I own and owned 191 BG and the newer Goats are stiffer than the OG 191... There were no issues in the std flex for any of my Goats including the SG when it came to crud and have zero complaints on POW... Float is the shit...!

Attached pic is my 193 SGs in std flex along with my beloved 189 108 Wrens... I wont lie as the only ski I am ordering for next season is 192 116 Woodsman...Click image for larger version.

Without the extra carbon, they are virtually the same ski, IMO. Oh course, I didnt figure that out until I had bought a standard flex SG and then bought a 189 BG later that same year thinking/hoping it would feel like a little less ski than the standard layup SG. Nope. Hard for this guy to tell the difference. So I decided to man up and learn to ski the SG better. Now that we are better acquainted, the SG is my go to for PNW variable pow/deep days. Plus, I went with the America topsheets and they just look amazing.

Im keeping the 189 BG for junior since he is growing like a weed.

Coulda sworn SG had a thicker core profile too.
    Iggy?
Mine seem thicker in the middle than my other On3P's. Don't have BG's yet though.. And mine are 2x

Ill get the calipers out later and check overall thickness. Not completely scientific but I am curious to see the outcome.

Also, probably more accurate to say they feel or ski virtually the same...at least to me.

The SG's are noticeably thicker than my other ON3P's as well. I'm riding 1.5x.

My SGs in the 1 flex are much thicker than the wifes BGs. Of course there is a length difference.

    ON3P SKIS Discussion

Got the calipers out today and measured overall thickness of the skis (193 SG standard flex and 189 BG standard flex) and came out with 15.3-mm for SG and 15.2-mm for BG. Also, just for fun measured a few more BGs I have in the mix. My sons 179s came to 14.8-mm, 184s came to 15.0-mm, and my 2014 186s measured 14.5-mm.

Measurements were made at the mount point line to attempt a consistent outcome.

The 193, 189, and 186 were all bought firsthand by me and have never seen a tuning machine since leaving the factory. Not sure whether the 179 or 184 have ever been tuned.

So, the standard SG is technically thicker but I would not say that it is by a substantial margin. They are also visibly about 2-mm wider in the waist versus the BG (118 vs 116).

Some interesting bits on woodsman108s from Jonathan Ellsworth of Blister: "Strong like a wren, yet more centered and playful like a kartel. Could be a great comp ski." Color me intrigued.

Iggy et al - if you were looking for a 182 WD108, would you be hitting refresh over the weekend to see if any show up in the In-Stock Custom Sale, or will that remain 187s only?

No 182cm WD108 customs in stock. Would have to be made to order at $100 off with Custom20 code. First custom production window closes on the 1st. Inventory online is what we have, sans a small handful of pairs (5-8ish) still in finishing (and those are 181 M102, 186 J108, and 187 WD108).
