If I custom order some BGs in 193, is that considered a super goat or just a 193 BG?

    99% it’s the super goat.

But I am not sure what flex you get with the stock option carbonfiber.

Maybe what was considered stiff during the SG sale? It was standard - stiff - aever.

It's a supergoat, but you can specify the flex. I'm not sure what nomenclature they're using at this time, but just make it clear in your notes that you want the stock-BG flex, if that's what you want. For a big dude, skiing fast and slaying crud the +1.5 stiff flex is $$$. Never go full Aever.

Yep 1.5 became standard flex option.

    ON3P SKIS Discussion

Great motto, especially for anyone who got to live through all the shit that poor bastard got, haha!! Still brings a smile to my face just how funny that deal was. Too bad it got so real, he was fun. I still have plans to buy a super goat but my only debate would be stock flex or the 1.5, don’t think I want to work that hard??? Pretty sure a stock flex in a 193 would be plenty of ski for me! “Never go full Aever”. Aaahahaha! Funniest part was when Iggy admitted to telling him just that before he purchased, fucking priceless!! Ahhh shit... good times

Anyone have any idea what build my 179 steeple 108 would be? Its from the demo fleet i believe(ions with demo track). They are labelled prototype. Feels as stiff as my bg and its not much heavier than my 174 steeple 102.Click image for larger version.

I am of the opinion that increasing a skis stiffness through adding carbon isn’t the same as making the core thicker to stiffen it up.

The carbon stores way more energy so it becomes a lot more work to keep the ski flexed. This isn't a problem if you are heavy and probably a good thing, but for someone light the ski becomes unwieldy and hard to ski unlike a ski that is just stiff because of a thick core.

I’d say if you way less than 200lbs you’re probably good on the std flex.

Iggy please tell me if I am wrong. This is my experience with adding extra carbon to multiple skis.

SG's core is thicker than standard BG as well

Any advice on how to get the best fit for the asym tips and also I got skins too wide apparently, I guess I'll have to shave off the sides of the tip attachment? or maybe I should just exchange them for a size down?

Can you make a 169 long, 112 wide tour flex BG with that flower top sheet?

You can call it the HippyGoat

I’m 175 lbs, 6’1” and have the “1” flex supergoats. I ski pretty hard but I’m a 51 year old dad. I wouldn’t want stiffer. Take that for what it’s worth

I'm 185 with a standard (1.5) flex. I don't ski near as hard as that dude on the back aevers (sick), but the standards are plenty. They have not gotten the nod over my c&d or pillowfight, mostly because of dry snow and terrain. Having too much fun on those.

In truth, haven't skied them yet this year. If I don't ski them soon I'll gearswap them.
