How much different are they from stock 189 BGs? Asking for a friend who most definitely does not need more skis but is genuinely curious

    Love it!!

Let it be known, I looked at those Stiff, Sexy SG’s on the ON3P online store and decided someone else should have them.

    Things where they differ:
    On piste
    - lower tail rocker lets them hook up much better and when on edge they hold it. Tails don’t wash out with ankle flexion and they reward skier input. I’ve found this very nice on icy and refrozen runouts as they hold an edge mo betta’

    Off piste
    - lower tail rocker and wider dims reduce the ability to tail gun these. They reward a forward aggressive skier stance and do not tolerate lazy skiing to the degree the BG does. They are more business and a little less play but I can tail butter and have plenty of fun on them.
    - speed limit and general cruising speed is so much faster than a BG. These things are fucking Cadillacs — the ride is even more damp than a traditional ON3P (in my mind I hear em saying “is that all you got fucker...”)

    Things they share:
    slashy/slarvy BG characteristics
    - IMO they retain everything I love about my 189’s. Sure you’re going a bit faster but that makes it more funnerrrr.
    - mad crud busting hacks, still like the cheat code of skiing... this design absolutely slays in bounds/ cut up, recycled, wind buff, wind fuk’d snow. This is the large difference and why I sold my C&D’s in favor of the SG. The C&D lost this ability, the platform was simply too wide and when skiing at speed would go up and over shit vs THROUGH SHIT.

When I’m on my SG’s I’m the best skier on the fuckin mountain!

Seriously though the SG’s give me confidence to ski anything. Only thing close but in a way different sense is the LP105’s. SG’s don’t make super g trenches on icy groomers

    ON3P SKIS Discussion

Chargers.....demand skier input compared to the 189. I feel like my 189’s ski short for length. SG is all of that 193. Long fast turns and epic acceleration, they love to run.

That said they still share the slarvy feel up front and out the back of the 189. Goddamm somebody is gonna be a happy mutherfucker on those things.

Even though the SGs have me checking the couches for extra funds while reminding myself that I love my veneer 191s, we can't ignore the 184cm BGs. Those Mango Sunrise Tours look HOT! Plus purple BGs for $599? That's a killer deal

I had the tab open all night and was just trying to justify it to myself... despite have just acquired C&Ds that I haven't even skied yet. Thanks for doing what I couldn't do myself and welcome to the cult.

EDIT: Also I was just browsing the site and noticed the Woodsman 110 Pro... What is that ski? How have I missed people talking about that here? Woodsman TI but wider??

Are you sure you didn’t look at the Wrenegade 110 Pro?

Was wondering the same. Be surprised to see a Ti woods as they are designed as less of a charger but who knows?!?

I don't see a 110 TI Woods, but there is definitely a 102 TI Woods Soft. Hell of a unicorn, did they go with softer flex to counter act the TI?

What’s the 50/50? Black and white?
