Just wait…that Woodsman 110 is probably nothing more than a new topsheet on the last Woodsman 108 build…just so Iggy can screw with all of us.

    If that’s true it’s working.

110-115mm skis have a placebo like effect for me. Not 109 or 116. 110 is actually perfection

Well, that’s a painfully beautiful reply from Iggy.

Painful in that now I have to prepare funds for a ski that I didn’t need.

Beautiful because WOULD YOU FUCKING LOOK AT IT?

    You heathens.

    *edit—

Wait a fucking minute, what’s the weight on a 110BG? Did you just challenge the Raven/Hoji on my list for my next JP touring rig? You fucking asshole.

Ok how did pitting this bad happen in 1 month in the garage...picked these up a month ago with perfect edges and now they look like this? WTF? This is after I used scotchbrite. Wouldn't be a big deal except I'm trying to catch and release on these and you know how people are

Yeah, I’ve had similar things happen in the garage down here in PDX. A soft gummi is the tool for cleaning these up and back to shiny. I usually clean w/ a soft, then go after any stubborn stains w/ a medium and then a hard gummi. Back in the day, used to clean the rust off after a year in the basement in IL w/ steel wool.

Just gonna say what I think a lot of us are saying—

I’m always intrigued by ON3Ps designs but will probably never pull the trigger because every ski looks like way too much tail rocker in real life.

    Wrenegade Pro, specifically.
Unless you like old school perfectly flat tails, the Wren Pro does not have too much tail rocker for you.

To be honest, I am a bit unsure just what it is you hope to get out of your post, but I'll try to answer it regardless.

Just try a pair before over-thinking whether the tail rocker lines are too deep or if they have too much splay - especially in 108mm and up side of their lineup. ON3P skis are made to be used off piste in softer snow, are usually fairly stout underfoot to be stable/supportive together with deep rocker lines with a fair bit of splay to be loose. The design philosophy works really, really well for soft snow use. ON3P's rocker lines and splay numbers are also in line with a lot of other skis designed to thrive in snow rich environments, so I wouldn't sweat it. If you want longer effective edge then consider sizing up.

I would think that multiple ON3P models would be fairly spectacular skis for Japan or other spots that get a fair bit of snow, even if there are other designs out there that are stronger on-piste / ice slayers. It could be that reverse camber skis are even better/looser in snow that is that light and dry, but it would be a big surprise if RES skis are found wanting over yonder.

I've had both Ravens, Hojis and SGN Togga Carbons (their take on Renegade ish ski), and have found BG108tours, BGs and C&Ds to outperform said skis for most soft snow uses (the worst hard snow ski is the Togga by a mile). No, I am not saying that the ON3Ps are better skis, but they are better for me and how I ski

And ON3Ps sure are pretty and well built too

    Here we go…

187 BG 118 next to a 188 Rustler 11 (the current standard in ski design IMO). Wish I still had my DW Tour’s to put behind them…

Edit1.2: See N1CK.’s post below. They are the hybrid construction.

Edit… well duckfuck. Why does the form do weird flips with photos? Turn your phones upside down
