Stiff on all of them. I personally think that is the ideal flex for the ski. I believe we are down to 7 pairs left available.

I really like the standard flex on my pair...

If anyone is on the fence about these skis...just sack up, you’ll be glad you did.

Question for anyone who has been on both 184 and 189 BG's.

How much do you give up in terms of maneuverability via sizing up?

I've been on the 186? (now 184?) and love how quick it is in trees and tight spots. But I'm ~200 lbs and have had my share of feeling like I'm headed over the bars when I get forward. Especially when it's deep and chopped up. I'm not super charge-y in general.

I've heard a lot of "you don't lose any top end on the smaller size". But do you give much up in terms of quickness in the 189?

Also before you say it, I know I'm being stupid and it's not that much difference.

edit: and yes, this does mean that there might be a minty pair of 186s up for grabs. Feel free to PM me if you're interested.

Probs but I am 6' 2 and 200 and I love the 184. Perfect for me. I'll trade a little float for the maneuverability of the 184.

I think it comes down to preference. Don't be afraid of the 184. It fucking rips and can haul plenty of ass.

I do remember going over the bars on my og 186 BG in weird snow. Shrug.

Awesome. You’ll dig ‘em if you like to haul ass but be able to effortlessly downshift. I would have no concerns going 189cm alpine even on ec. Hope you can catch this storm. Fist full of groomer skiing for me this season but stoked to be skiing this thurs-Sunday. Bring it.

Ya know, I would BUT she is wife #3 and I really don’t think I can afford to go thru that again. Plus, 2 knee surgeries, a foot surgery and now shoulder surgery, she kinda has a point. She just said if I want to jump off stuff again “That’s fine, i’ll Just laugh at you when you break yourself again.”
