I absolutely slayed the groomers at Loon today with the w88. Such a great hard snow ski.

After owning four iterations of the BG and an SG, I have agree that Billy Goat is the best for PNW snow and terrain.

I’ve had all of those skis and no way does the Jeffrey 110 rank there.
I ski 135 degree chutes switch to the road.

My wife agrees completely. Tho this year she’s got BG’s to try out as soon as we’ve got the snow!

Having owned all of those I humbly disagree.

The wren 108 is the best ski they made as in it’s the most versitile and composed. It carves hard snow really well, floats amazing for it’s width, can be worked through bumps and is super stable while being a breeze to ski.
It’s so fun I don’t really want to be on anything else unless it’s deep.

    ON3P SKIS Discussion

Wren 108, K108 and BG’s are all awesome and just different. The Jeffrey 110’s could be improved, which they were, hence the K108.

Anybody on the east coast using Kartels as daily drivers? Care to comment? Looking for a do-all ski, but not sure if it has too much rocker.

Last year of pre-asym. Mounted once on the line for pivots/315mm BsL. Awesome ski, charges hard, but easy goinG. Probably my favorite ski for chunk wet snow

I rode my K108’s a bunch last year. The only place they are decent but a bit out of their element is tight firm moguls. But now I have Brahma’s for the firmer days.

I think the K96 would be a sweet daily ski. Especially with the tighter sidecut.

I have kartel 98’s and wren 88’s and 98’s but with a tour layup. The kartel can definitely be an east coast ski but the wren is better suited with the flatter tail. In soft snow I gravitate more towards the kartel because of the playfulness but in hard snow I like the extra bite the tail of the wren has.

    fair enough.

The CO conditions I find myself in .. results in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I love my BG's too!
I've just had so much fun on SG's and PF's it should be criminal.
