I love that description and comparison. I agree with it wholeheartedly. If you get a lot of deep snow, the two skis can complement one another, especially is you get dry deep days as well as variable deep days. I could see the C&D being a favorite in places where you get deep and dry as the norm, where the rounder flex and better float are nothing but a benefit.

I have a hard believing anything would better in deep untracked or cut up funk than my SG’s in the 1 flex.

So you guys get first crack before we post em publicly, we just put a bunch of in-stock customs in the store if anyone wants a custom at with sale discount, but without the wait.

A Woodsman 126 would certainly be quite the ski. Would take a good bit of interest to get there, though.Seriously, this can’t turn into yet another ON3P thread....

What I don't understand is why the SuperGoat is 1.5x stiffer that the normal BillyGoat? I ride the 189 Goats and while I don't think I need any extra stiffness, I would have loved the extra length on the SG for those powder days.
I was just worried that 1.5x stiff might actually reduce the SG's float relative to the 189 BG, so I went BG.

That would be me... 6'4" and 205 lbs and went SG in std flex... I own and owned 191 BG and the newer Goats are stiffer than the OG 191... There were no issues in the std flex for any of my Goats including the SG when it came to crud and have zero complaints on POW... Float is the shit...!
Attached pic is my 193 SGs in std flex along with my beloved 189 108 Wrens... I wont lie as the only ski I am ordering for next season is 192 116 Woodsman...

Without the extra carbon, they are virtually the same ski, IMO. Oh course, I didn’t figure that out until I had bought a standard flex SG and then bought a 189 BG later that same year thinking/hoping it would feel like a little less ski than the standard layup SG. Nope. Hard for this guy to tell the difference. So I decided to man up and learn to ski the SG better. Now that we are better acquainted, the SG is my go to for PNW variable pow/deep days. Plus, I went with the America topsheets and they just look amazing.
I’m keeping the 189 BG for junior since he is growing like a weed.In constant pursuit of the perfect slarve...

The SG's are noticeably thicker than my other ON3P's as well. I'm riding 1.5x.

My SG’s in the 1 flex are much thicker than the wife’s BG’s. Of course there is a length difference.
