One question for Iggy and the peanut gallery as I get more serious about this custom ski order: In the ski builder the Tour profile is described as "rounder" if I want a more progressive flex will +stiff keep me around the same weight, or preferable to go with the 50-50 profile?

For the record, I'm leaning towards the 184 BG (or BG108) Tour +stiff, mounted with Solly MTN and driven with Tecnica Zero-g Scouts. My primary tour rig is a chopped 192 DPS W99, that measures about 187. I would expect the 184 BG to be similar in length. This ski will spend most of it's time on the eastern slope of the cascades: light, shallow, windblown snowpack and tight lines through trees and basalt.

    1.79 kg = 3.946 lbs/ski

    Pretty happy with that weight!

Apologies if I'm jongin and this has already been posted previously
Yee 186cm Jeff 108 Tour is 1.75kg and 189cm BG 108 Tour is 1.83kg on the site too. Should put the 184 BG 108 Tour right about 1700g-1725g for the pair hopefully. Soo stoked. With my Hawx Prime XTD 130s plus intuition tour wraps (~1450g) and Tectons (1300g) comes to a grand total of 4450g, or 2225g per foot. Not bad for how bomber on the down that setup should be. Pomoca Pro S Glide skins add another 160g or so per side.

    Real stoked for the season

How does the Billy Goat asymmetrical tip taper ski on packed snow? I have never skied a ski like that. I have skied older Billy Goats.

I enjoy carving my Praxis Quixote’s (asym) on hard snow. I think the best way I’d describe them is they enjoy a more centered and two-footed technique on hardpack. They can be driven hard still and carve well, big GS turns or quick slashy turns as well. Don’t know if BG’s are the same in that regard

So I know everyone is geeking about the super light touring skis,
but I want to know when the Wren 102ti will be posted... I have Wren 98s and 108s and bought Woods 108s and believe this ski can replace all... Plus the top sheet is second to none...

it will be 1700-1725g per ski, not per pair if we assume your numbers are right

    Gorgeous.

The tour skis are coming in lighter than I would have guessed. I'm not letting myself buy any more skis this year, but I'm really intrigued by the BG Tour.

I was going to save money and just get the stock build BG116T but I've put that exact graphics combo in my cart a couple times and fuck you your photos are not helping my wallet.

I am a newbie with regard to hiking. I was planning to get the 50\50. Do most who tour with ski's go with the Skin Clip Tail?

If you are ordering custom anyway to get the 50/50, get the skin clip tail. Skins work fine on the stock tails, but better on the skin clip tail.
In other words I would not go custom JUST for the tail, but it's worthwhile if you're already ordering custom.
