Concur that Billy Goat is the GOAT for Revvy-type skiing and snow. Skied some very deep but unfortunately wet days in Revelstoke in early January. Some people were struggling, but the BG's just crush it for skiing fast through them trees in difficult snow. Nuts floatation and zero hooky-ness. Sounds like snow conditions in Whistler can often be high-moisture too.
Nevertheless, for Bamski's goals, it does sound like the Woodsman 102 could be $$$
As much as I could ski them every day, I wouldn't say the BG has the quickness I desire in lower-tide conditions, so I definitely switch to something narrower, lighter, and more energetic in those conditions.

You are describing the Woodsman for sure. I'm mid 30s, about your size, directional skier, daily drove the 186 Wren 112 for several years and got to the point where I'm too old and weak to do that any more, but still don't like jibby skis. Picked up Woodsman 108s last year and they offer most of the directional stability of the Wren, but are way easier to ski and more nimble. I don't think you would be at all unhappy on a pair.
Also, I love my Billy Goats to death, but it's not a low tide ski by any means.

I love my woodsman 96 as a lower tide nimble ski in the tahoe area. The 102 looks good too, not sure what I would choose if I had to make the decision today.

Bamski seems like some more retooling needed.. suggest making the BG your foundation as well
Pair with woodsman and watch your quiver shrink

Love my 96 woodsman for low tide. In a few in of chop and soft it still does well.

x2.... I find myself only reaching for anything wider in 6”+ of new. After years of using a 105mm platform as my dd, the last few seasons I’ve grown to appreciate the versatility of the Wren 96/98 and (more so) Woodsman 96. More gained than lost going a bit narrower other than float (which I rarely need in the East and have other options more suited for).

Soon. Just finished Wrens. If I hit any sort of wall on the Mera/Jessies tomorrow, I will dive back into finishing the web copy (which, both seriously and in jest, is basically just taking existing copy and moving some words around) and email. That said, my brain is still somewhat functional on the graphics end so priority right now is getting these last 3 graphics done, as that is sort of holding...most of my life up. Priority wise right now I'm basically 1) keep production running then 2) graphics.....then huge gap to everything else, and right now its just me on the non production end for a bit longer, so hopefully a few more productive days and I can get these all finalized and website updated. The fuck-it-we'll-do-it-live of ski drops continues.
In the meantime while I get files prepped, Wren 102 and 110 Pro.
Seriously, this can’t turn into yet another ON3P thread....

And a guesstimate of the change in stiffness if choosing the softer or stiffer option on customs?

Any details on the new Wrenegade 110 Pro? I have been refreshing the webpage everyday, just joined, now will research this forum. Did anything change on the BG for 2021? Just wondering, buying a pair either way. Thanks.
