The situation where the asym would bother you would bother you in the pre-asym version too - over driving the skis on harder snow. Ski them as intended and you will be good. For the intent of the design, this is the best version we've built.
Seriously, this can’t turn into yet another ON3P thread....

Oh yeah I remember hearing that was the case - over driving in hard snow. I’m not someone who has to drive hard all the time. It will be nice to be able to drive harder in 3D snow though with the big shovels and pin tails. Next season can’t come soon enough.

Shit son what size foot do you have? Drip some CH4 on them and forget buying skis
Oh and you might be a little ahead of the line.

Any chance you fine folks at ON3P will be doing a run of 195ish BGs next year? Or another run of the SuperGoats?

Us tall guys need skis too! Especially because i tend to mount +1-2 on most skis, and run out of tip quickly when trying to stomp airs into powder.

Also, random question regarding flexes on your skis nowadays- I have the original 191 BGs (2011/12) and they are nice and stiff, but also totally dead feeling (good for charging, bad for playfulness). Kinda a cross between the orignal Wren, but in the shape of the BG if i remember correctly. If i was trying to emulate the flex of those skis in next years BGs, i assume the standard layup would be too soft? No worries if you dont remember those skis well, youve probably gone through a few pairs over the past 7 years haha.

Maybe they are saving them for next year, since they are getting the 2019 standard lineup ready.

Anyone on the fence for Supergoats.. and you know you have the terrain for them..just do it.

Scott, when you say there's a fleet in Portland right now, does that mean I can take a spin on some BGs? Or just put me down for SGs. Doesn't look like it'd be hard to move em on the off chance I didn't love em.

The final piece of the quiver puzzle got mounted this week, and i now have what i consider to be quiver perfection for my needs.

Unfortunately, i also bought a house on a whim close to some of the best skiing terrain here in western Scandiland - so alas alas, the hateful eight (aka my quiver) will become a quiver of one (wren108/tecton) for the rest of the season. Everything else will be sold so i can pay for the house. Oh well, it was fun building the quiver even if i do not get to hang on to it for very long.

that being said, i think the wren88/tecton setup ended up looking truly fantastic (no intentional color matching going on here), and i am sure that whoever get to ski it will be very satisfied indeed.

I haven't kept track in previous years, what's an average sale price that can be expected for ON3P skis in the next month or so?

^Sorry, but that is uselessly vague.

Model, condition, # of mounts, length are some of the important variables to consider.

A quiver disbanding sounds promising for all the second hand shoppers.
Common sense. So rare today in America it's almost like having a superpower.

Are looking for new 17-18? If so 25% off of what’s left in-stock at Evo.

Yeah. I see the BGs at 679.99 so about $100 off or a little less than 13% off. Am I missing something?

Sorry I meant new 17/18 remaining stock. Specifically looking for 184 Billy Goats.

Usually Billy Goats sell out at or close to full price, especially in the most popular sizes (184).

Funnily enough, there were a few at Portland Evo under 600 late season last year.

i think i have talked myself out of killing the entire quiver and instead selling off parts of it and going with quiver killer inserts for some skis instead (and sell some two pairs of vipec and a pair of tectons) to get some funds back, yet retain the flexibility i am aiming for. Time will tell. The main criteria right now is rebuyability

The 184 BG is such an awesome slush buster. Our little hill faces west. BG comes out on these late winter days after noon.

That’s the info I was looking for, thanks. Just missed some at a real nice price at one retailer. Checked in yesterday and they had sold their last pair the previous day. So is $100 off at EVO stores about the best I’m going to do?

Probably. I paid full price for my 184's last year and zero regret. The year before they were mostly sold out by spring I believe. It is hit or miss. They don't have a downside for me at any price.
