    Wow that that's gonna be a movie at some point. I've heard about the militarized zone but interesting to see that an avy took out a post in the middle of that Glacier. If that picture is right that is the worst possible place to put an outpost.

    Is like ww1 trench warfare without any thought to avalanche danger. It seems like every few years a bunch of soldiers are killed in that area by slides. Still it's a crazy story

    Pretty sure the combatants intentionally use avalanche as a weapon, and have for a long time. Whole bases get buried on the regular
