In Docchronic ' s defense, it pissed me off that ever human condition has to be named after some egotistical fuck. In vet med we tend to call things what they are. Inflammatory bowel disease instead of Crohn's disease, hyperthyroidism vs Grave's disease, hyperadrenocortism vs Cushing's disease, etc, etc, etc.

Yeah, and when it's mentioned in conversation you'd actually have a general idea of what they're talking about. I had obviously heard of Crohn's, but until someone I knew was dealing with it in their family, I really had no clue what it was exactly.
