Thanks you for the bump. I totally agree with what has been said about Sam Anthamatten and wanted to reference his skiing in "This is home" here.
It is amazing how in these film they skied some gnarly stuff in the sort time they had. These guys can pull something off in almost all conditions -> further proof for how advanced the lines in la List are as they needed near perfect conditions.
btw: The first air in la liste is one of my favorite airs on film. It comes so fluid out of the line and the terrain.

I like the hommage that is paid to the pioneers of 'la pente raide'

A short one with Heitz, Victor de le Rue, and a couple of other demi-gods of snow sliding. Very much in line with La Liste. I was GRIPPED watching the Pain de Sucre portion.

So beautiful. So scary.
We're all going somehow, and one could argue that these guys have already lived more than most will.

I think there is video of fransson (RIP) and anthamatten skiing pain de sucre from years back
Crazy perspective from riders’ POV
Feels this palms start to sweat during the traverse

I get the same sweaty palms as when I've been around people free soloing.
The treatment of this topic (how far do you take it) was delt with nicely in "TWENTY".
