    Seems like the same thing could be said of the indians if they had won instead.

    Did it effect the outcome? No idea...but I'll tell you this much, I didn't want them to pause the game either...and I'm a die-hard Cubs fan.

    they're all professionals but the momentum had shifted significantly and it gave the cubs a chance to regroup. if cleveland would have won i would say they overcame having their momentum stalled by the delay. i would say it matters more to the team on their heels.

    Great game. Bumbling, yes. But still great entertainment.

    Can't remember when I've seen the winning team survive so many screw ups.
