Accountant Type with DCAA/DCMA experiance
Are you a financial type that knows DCMA/DCAA and FAR/DFARs? What to live in a mountain town in the heart of Colorado and go heli skiing in Alaska? Here's a chance to live/work in Carbondale, Colorado if you have the following experience:
Cost Accountant who has experience in FAR regulations and DCAA procedures.
• prepare pricing in Excel using complex formulas to bid on Requests for Proposal (RFP) issued by Department of Defense (DoD) and other government agencies under various contract vehicles
• manage the financial aspects of multiple task orders in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and contract terms
• utilize a number of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools and Microsoft Excel/Access to make journal entries, prepare projections and budgets, analyze variances, and present monthly/quarterly reports to senior executives with recommendations
• provide responses to Internal Audit & Compliance, external audit firm, and US Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA).
• Must have a minimum of an Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Must have experience with Quickbooks
• Experience with basic accounting procedure such as invoicing, ledgers accounts, reconciliation
• Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Access.
• Knowledge of FAR regulations is highly desired
• Knowledge of DCAA standards is highly desired
