Chaga - 'King of Herbs'
But it's not an herb at all! It's a fungus.

Anyone use chaga? I harvested some recently and was looking to make some tea. Although, apparently preparing it as tea only reaps minimal benefits that this super fungi can provide, but it's better than nothing I suppose.
So these guys sell the extract, so have to take it with a grain of salt, but it makes sense to me...but I don't know shit, being a dentist and all.

I just throw the chunks into the pot and simmer for 30 minutes or so. They break into to smaller pieces after multiple uses, freeze the pieces in gallon bags till next use.
I strain the tea into pitchers with a wire mesh colander.
I once found a chunk the size of mah head, which is big. I am still making tea with it 4 years later although I pick fresh from time to time.watch out for snakes

This is long...I've only listened to some, but it's interesting. I'm not sure if it's this vid or another, but they treated tumors in mice and it decreased cell proliferation within the tumor. Interesting to say the least.
No, but it potentially will keep you healthier longer so you can enjoy those trips for years to come!
Super high in antioxidants...
