Love, love , love that desert dune 4R. If the 4R could tow (rated for) more than 5k then I'd have a TRD Pro in the garage after making a pit stop at SleeOffroad.

Why is that Yota can't make a 4R (current generation) capable of a 6-7k tow rating?

this... I have an 2011 and it can tow 5000, the current drops to 4800 towing. Going to trade in the 4R for a Tacoma (6800) or Chevy Colorado (7000) for the very reason of towing a camper

Pretty sure my dad is seriously considering one of those after the current 05 Suburban. It really pisses me off that Chevy turned the Tahoe into a grocery getter for soccer moms.

Wish they would bring back the Zr2 Blazer, though I'd be pretty stoked if the concept zr2 Colorado hit production.

    xtreme, regular s10, s10 zr2

edit: good video on the trd

GX460 tows 6500. I wish they would put that V8 in the 4R. Same chassis. Shit would sell like hot cakes. Old V8 4Rs still bring a ton of money.

I don't mind, as it would replace the wife's ride, and I have towing rigs. Still would be nice to put that LS460 V8 in it.

GX has always been wonky looking. The middle one being the best.

I have a hard time justifying buying brand new vehicles but in a few years one of those could definitely be in the driveway. I'm thinking about replacing my current vehicle with either a 4R or a Tacoma. Currently lusting over a 2nd gen taco with a RTT setup like so:

If this is turning into a Toyota suv circle jerk... I see your 4runner and raise you one Land Cruiser. Pic was taken today.

I do like those trail edition 4runners, probably the best suv available new right now, but man are they ugly as fuck in the front.

Also, please give me a tail gate (like my cruiser has, so I can get stuff out without everything falling out, or so I have a place to sit and have my beer, or so I have a place to change the baby's diaper, or so I have a place to...

^it's more Cochise than lotus 138.

My sequoia is set up similar to the 4Runner pro but I still do miss my f150. How are peeps liking the eco boost and aluminum body? Love the sequoia but could use a little extra tow capacity at times.

I love the 80 series, but If I went LC, it would have to be a 100.
