    is it always slalom?
that's seems weird to me, beer league around here is always GS
if it's always slalom, you should find some short race skis and some plastic

Only running GS sounds as lame as only running slalom (which the Alta town series does not.)

    we hit over 50mph, routinely
on a 30 second course, this isn't Nastar, guy
GS is beer league, going fast on a Tuesday morning, look forward to it every week
setting slalom for beer league, would be considered gay back east, is all

then again, pretty much everything back east would be considered gay out west.

and thanks Xover 4 the CUT 11.5 shout out

Looking for a supersidecut skinny race ski. Pulling out the old powder sticks for the racing at alta. SL was pocket rockets. GS was CUT 11.5

our local beer league is a duel format super SL (~19M). No jumps built in, but its a rodeo when we run slow to fast with 120 people.
Move upside and let the man go through...

how fast was the winning time?
also, you want less sidecut for GS and more for SL
    i'm loving my 181cm 25m for GS
some like 21m for beer league, some like 27m, the guy's who win, are running 30m
for SL, you want shorties, 165cm 13m
look around, talk to coaches, used race skis are everywhere

    Update

Big shout out to ienjoydrinkingbeer for the race sticks. Went from the back of the pack to better than half of the racers yesterday. Got active and ran a straighter line with proper race sticks. Oh and the PHAT Tuesday crowd was in effect.

Tuesday Slalom #5. Firm conditions with lots of tight turns today. Did average today, results here.

I wish we did SL more, I have top 10ed every SL we have done but can barely top 20 if I am lucky at GS.

SL is way more fun IMO.
