I know that I rarely use any of my 8 local discounts, besides giving a few to random gapers at the window paying full price
And yeah I don't know what I was thinking saying a hour. Only in shit conditions would it be an hour from Frisco to beaver creek

Breck is currently full of Texas college students. My kid reports that he has never seen so many people in the grocery store with ski boots still on. I am leaving for summit for two weeks to ski bumm with my ski bumm kids.

Grocery store is nothing. It's when they're still wearing them in the bar at 10-11pm that you got keep an eye out.
My wife and her MILFy friends used to take a girls ski trip every year.
One year they were in Aspen and got invited to the Tennis Shoe Ball.
Super high end party at the St. Regis, thrown by a bunch of old billionaires.
The next year they went to Breck and some college kid barfed on her.

Yes. Then you can call 911 if you're caught in an avalanche.

It's been 3 years since I've had a pass that includes Breck. Maybe an occasional "break" from the Basin isn't a bad thing (guessing Imperial/Lake Chutes and T-bar are skiing reasonably well by now).
Does the outer lot in Breck still have free parking? Weekends? Free parking filled up by 9am? 8am? Howzabout weekdays?
If free parking now sucks and/or is limited, has anyone used the Summit Stage strategy from (say) Frisco? The schedule looks as if it takes 45 minutes.
Any other strategies (besides skiing 100% at the Basin which is an option )?
Thanks!

The only problem with Keystone is that it is located within 1 hour of 5 resorts that are better than it.
I live in the southeast, so anything with over 1000 ft vertical or runs longer than a mile are at least a day's drive away. That being said, daily lift ticket prices are ridiculous. Even with airfare arguably lower on some routes than in years past.... i wouldn't be able to swing a multi-day trip out west with passes having basically doubled in the last 8 years

Will there be a ski off? And if so, against whom and for how much?
"PC Load Letter, what the fuck does that mean?"

Outer lot is still free but you have to take the shuttle to the gondola. Don't worry about it filling up.
Cell service is great everywhere in summit county besides the basin. Basically no service there.
Aspen is 2 hours from summit. But could be worth the trip. Ski aspen highlands, not Ajax DD. Or better yet, ski both in 1 day.
Also I wouldn't rule out skiing Vail and beaver creek. Both of those mountains are worth a day. Beaver creek has the added benefit of never being crowded
