Yeah...I am still...probably even more when I get my ankle fastened back together. Makes the pimples on our landscape here in MN (that we call ski hills) a little bit bigger...sorta.
Not gonna lie though - locking em down sure is fun too!Gravity. It's the law.

More like skiers posing as telemarkers. "Yeah, I used to tele, but...<insert excuse>. Wanna hang out?"

I watched freeheelvegan not free heel but rather utilize the wedge christie turn under the lift last week.

Read somewhere that tele sales are slightly up.
I blame NTN. It combines all the things we like about alpine gear with that sweet surfy tele feel.
Srsly though the market growth is supposedly connected to snowboarding. Snowboarders get into backcountry. Buy a splitty. Get tired of the transitions and flat exits. Tele maintains some of the surfy, anti-bondage feel they liked about snowboarding. Not rocket science.

TeleMarkers Posing As Skiers?
Alpine boots collecting dust for last 6 seasons. Surfy for sure and adds a fun dynamic to northern VT tree skiing. Not sure I ever would have taken the leap if lived in proximity of bigger terrain but so glad I did. I don't see myself ever going back. With stiffer tele boots and binding can still just stand on your skis and crank big alpine turns which are still crazy fun. Hybrid skillz.
