The old fox still bright eyed at 95

I saw film with Klaus O. in it years before, but seeing him leading younger people as the skiing fox in a Fox and Hounds sequence in Warren Miller's "Fifty" really inspired me.

He popped up in various ski publications between then and now and it seems that he has been working and working out ever since.

Here's a nice piece from the WSJ: http://www.wsj.com/articles/at-95-a-...out-1448899633

It looks like we have one heck of a task if we aspire to "Be like Klaus".

Klaus opens the warehouse in july and outfits everybody in the valley especially the kids at 90% off of retail. Their clothing is kind of chi chi but really well designed and constructed.
He stands at the registers and visits with everyone. As class an act as you can find anywhere.

I remember reading an article somewhere that said some of the Aspen old-timers had a thing going where they would try & ski their age in miles per hour. 50 MPH at 50 years old, etc.

Apparently Obermeyer was clocked at 75MPH at 75 Yrs old! Don't know if he took that any further, but jeez! Bad ass.
