Oh that's easy - Cook's Illustrated subscription. Get both the magazine and online subs. Fabulous!

If you want something that is great for a veggie lover Victory Garden Cookbook is wonderful. It even has info on planting and yields. LOVE IT! It has gone in and out of print. You can buy it used on Amazon but a couple years back I found it at a local book store new.

Am I on point here? Should I just say fuck-it and buy her a jack-rabbit?
Those are great gifts! Both thoughtful and practical!

Rabbit would make a great stocking stuffer (pun intended)

It's really light whipped body cream - feels wonderful and leaves you oh so soft. Seriously - good stuff. I used the ginger this morning.

Hey... if you know someone who suffers from dry hands during the winter this is what you need to get them. Only thing that works for me:

    REJUVENATING HAND TREATMENT

(or she will use it too much until the novelty wears off and cost a fortune) Is there a smart phone & service you recommend that won't force me sign a contract and pay $50/month (or more) but gets decent connection service? I can't see paying $600+/yr for something she won't use.
Ringplus is free. You could get a cheap phone on eBay.

Cricket is $35/month all in and they have some decent free after rebate phones available.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Sounds like it but no - more emollient than lotion. Less water.

They make a great lotion call Precipitation that I use every day (broke out the Ginger this morning because I was feeling spicy after my shower). Love the Precipitation, oh so light and goes on easy.

I don't do religiously affiliated charities. Religion conveys at least as much hatred as love.

Do you think agreeing to the wife's terms for divorce is a sufficient present?
Or should I throw in a stocking stuffer?

Well I guess you've got to follow your conscious on this one but here's a thought:

The (atheist) psychologist Jonathan Haidt has observed:

"In the US, religious believers give more money than secular [even] to secular charities, and to their neighbours. They give more of their time, too, and of their blood. Even if you excuse secular liberals from charity because they vote for government welfare programs, it is awfully hard to explain why secular liberals give so little blood."

I don't want to go down this path in your nice thread. So I'll just wish for Peace On Earth and Good Will to All and continue to make my little secular contributions.
