Not this year, but I used to work the BAR swaps when my kids were in the program. One year did the setup on Friday night, and the weather was pretty sketchy ( freezing rain at Park gate, a couple of cars spun out in front of me as I was driving out) so I booked a night at the hotel we had as host ( underground parking lot. ) ha d a great dinner after setup at the Keg in the hotel and hit the hay. Next day, pre-open, grabbed a pair of Atomic SL-9.11’s and a Marker Ski suit. The Atomics were my absolutely favourite hard snow skis for three years. The ski suit, is still my backup. Rock solid. The Atomics died on Kicking Horse. Sent them in for a tune and the kid running the machine got his apron caught in the wheels. It was my ski or his leg. Kicking Horse chomped me a pair of Volkl Mantras in exchange.

Still miss those skis.......so sweet.. could lay down a perfect set of train tracks for 2,000 vertical feet before stopping....

Rossi Radical Pro boots for $100 new. Only pair at the late lamented North Tahoe swap and they fit me like a glove. I got a lot of years out of those--finally gave up trying to find replacement buckles for them. By the time I scrapped them they were a ski boot buckle museum. (Contrary to what you might think I am neither radical nor pro).

if you are coming to banff, but the $10 early bird ticket to gete in at 13:00 with only 99 others. Not that 14:00 is that busy, but better selection.

First ski swap for me today.... Never going again.

Within 10min I had bought a pair of Moment Belafontanes for $20. Massive core shot, imperfect edges. Will test my repair abilities. But for the price, the perfect early season BC ski for me.

Plus already drilled for my BSL and dynafits. Will be pulling the speed rads off the Lhasas (on sollyfit plates) until mid-winter when I can trust I won't destroy them as fast.

    Those are dead sexy.

Skis: Brand new, never used in original packaging. It's that time of year again!!! Don't wait!

    Rossignol VK4 (Torsion Box Kevlar®) skis R7000
183 cm. length, Made in Spain

Bindings: Never mounted, brand new as well

Marker® M48 Twincam, Full Spectrum Slalom White Ski Bindings
    Made in West Germany

Willing to sell to serious cash buyers only. Moving at the end of the week so don't wait...
Recently had hip replacements and decided to sell rather than to hang on to this great set of skis.

Also would consider throwing in my other used set at a very low price that includes
Boots, Bindings, Skis, Ski Lock and Bags for Boots and Skis separately.
Look forward to getting your response and can make these available as soon as needed.
Thank you for checking out my ad.
These are from 1992. What else has been holding them back, besides the hip replacement???

Not a swap, but I just rode my bike over to Patagonia yesterday when the Worn Wear trailer was in town. There was a brand new pair of gucci kids snowpants that had a slice in them from unboxing in the stock room... we fixed them together with a gore patch and I got to take them home for free. Dang grommet has better gear than me.

I was stoked on a new goretex coat for the wife. $400 marked down to 50% off. Had a tiny stain the size of pencil eraser and they glacé it to me for $120.
