Halloween Horror Thread

I am a traditionalist who hates excessive gore and can't handle zombies (nightmares for days). My favorites are the ones that wriggle into your brain and set up shop for days:

The Shining
Jacob's Ladder
Session 9
Lost Highway (top 5 all time favorite films)

Right now I'm letting my Juniors watch 'The Others' in advance of a pre-halloween unit (Bradbury, Poe, Lovecraft). Rad flick.

What are your staples?

If you're a fan of HP Lovecraft, I also liked Dagon, but it's very much a B movie.

You might find some good ones referenced on this site: http://www.badmovies.org/ (it also has an awesome library of audio clips page that I used to use extensively during my college radio days.)

I also am not a fan of gore or zombie stuff, and +1 for lost highway. So good!
