I think you've got a digit out of place, or something. It may have raised the difficulty level of the trivia question a fair bit.

Past tense + a date 5.5 months in the future = no lo comprendo.

ML on the runway a few years back

What an awesome day that was, stormy weekend kept the crowds away allowing a quiet Tuesday slack.

Speaking of slack, the neighborhood was invaded by 25-30 shuttlers last night. Trails took a pounding from all of the locked up brakes on every hill.

Impossible, I don't own a copy of Photoshop.
However, I will admit the post processing on the tractor photo is pretty heavy due to it being so strongly backlit. If you are confused, you can look up how a camera does not have the dynamic range of an human eye.

yup that's the one that has too much photoshop / processing. I know all about dynamic range that's why I use GND filters but not a fan of HDR pics. I do have 1 hdr on my website www.johnokner.com. can you figure out which one? the rest are GND filters

    cool photo ml242!

Nice photo-page you have there. You definitely get around a lot more than me
The only photo I thought looked kind of HDRish was Skytop008. I'm not a fan of HDR at all, so well done at hiding its use . The processing typically makes the photo way too fake looking.

I prefer to use an GND as well. I used one for all of the spring photos on the previous page. In the case of the tractor photo I had left my filters in my truck when I ran outside to take shots of the departing thunderstorm and the rainbow. The tractor shot (its my dad's tractor parked next to his barn next door to my house) was an afterthought. It is not HDR but rather a mix of using the graduated filter tool in Lightroom and bumping up the exposure, shadows, and clarity. Ramping up the clarity setting is what really makes it look "processed".

It's been quite sometime since I've had time to post regularly. Like 10 years or so.... But I'm home right now on medical leave after an ACL reconstruction. Well anyway for the next few weeks I'll be reading and posting a bit more than usual.

Got in one last day on the Superstar Glacier today. Early it was still good but as the day went on walking was somewhat required. Solid way to end it.

Went for a dip on the drive home. Water was much warmer than expected.
