actualy myself, AP and Pontus have only scratched the surface of all the bad shit Harper has done

Chantal Hebert impersonations are lots of fun you have to get all the shakes and the french accent right

Andrew Coyne who is pretty much a conservative at heart quit his job as editor of the National Post over the papers decision to back the cons ... huge respect to Andrew Coyne

Man, does that dude have nice hair! man, that was a crushing victory. Tuned in when I got home from work and bad, they are already declaring a liberal victory, majority before the ball game was over. Craziness, I tell ya. I wonder what the voter turnout numbers will be - anyone read/hear anything on that yet?

Got to say I agree with everyone here. What an embarrassment that way. It blows me away to see my facebook feed filled with people moaning about not have a conservative government and I'm in my mid 20's. Canada has spoken. It's a good night.

I'm not suggesting anything, I was just goofing on your rah-rah Canadianism, in the same vein as the AD's post seconds before mine. Good for you guys getting rid of that shitstain Harper.

Harper's record breaking run of deficit budgets and massive debt now has some hope of coming to an end. The man inherited 9 consecutive surpluses from the Liberals, and via asinine tax cuts and idiotic spending drove our economy into the ground. Good riddance.

76% in the yukon apparently. sooooo, social media does kinda have more benefits than just 'people are awesome' facebook posts?

I'm just looking forward and hoping that the general language and rhetoric being dumped through the mass media and gov mouthpieces changes in tone to something that reflects a 'kinder, gentler nation...' as G.W.B. put it. After the last decade of a really negative, fear based tone of Canadiana gov. zietgeist I'm ready to remove my pulp mill stained glasses, put on the rose colored ones and watch unicorns shit rainbows for awhile. The honeymoon won't last and the underlying machinations of the harsh realities of the world will march onwards but it will be nice to remove the skinny sticks, surf over breakable crust with fat skis for awhile until the owner wants his skis back. I'm tired of change, I want something different.
