Making a Time Line - What to use?
I Googled first of course and a list of the best 10 came up. The first one I tried sucked. Or more likely I sucked. I want to make an interactive time line with pictures and web links that I can share over the internet. Ideally it will be cut and paste, drag and drop intuitive. Watcha using? Did I mention that it should be free?

SmartDraw. You have to pay for it.

Thanks but SmartDraw wasn't it. What I want to do is show a horizontal timeline over 4 years. Arrows would point to specific dates and would be labeled with hot links to places containing pictures, maps, documents, etc. As an example, arrow points to 1/29/43. Title is Naples-Hummer in the Whore House. Click on it and it takes you to a map of the area around Naples, Italy. Maybe a Google street view of the house or where it was.

Try using a flow chart tool like Lucidchart.

Prezi is free if you don't care if the info is public so that works. Looks interesting. I'll play with it and see how the links work. But WTF. The into showed people sweating and pacing like they were the front line on an LST about to drop them off on Omaha Beach at 0500 on D-Day.
Thanks too stfu&gbtw but I roll on 5 year old Mac's.A few people feel the rain. Most people just get wet.
