What do they weigh? Pebax instead of PU? Have they improved the lame XT walk mode?

The beauty of the K2 sole is that you can use either a full ISO 5355 alpine binding (regardless of what Look says) or a tech binding without swapping boots, making them perfect for demo days. Unfortunately they weigh a ton, which is a deterrent to actual touring.

They sure went ugly on the color scheme!

It would be neat to have the fit of the RS 130 in a touring boot. I wonder how light they are?

We are certain that this boot...

-fits every major tech, frame or alpine binding? (G3 onyx EAD)

-doesn't require swapping blocks on your feet to do it?

    Sure, I wanna know more

    OneNerdyKid over on NS says
Not exactly like K2, but close. While Lange's boots do have tech inserts directly in the shell, the soles are WTR not Alpine ISO/DIN and (as pictured) will not work in true alpine bindings. As pictured, they will need to work with WTR, MNC, or touring bindings.

rumors are that there is a WTR conversion piece for single pivot toes (18/15 all metal), that said, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to put the ISO 5355 sole on there (minus the disqualifying tech inserts). It will be interesting to see if Look/Rossi decide to indemnify their bindings with K2 boots next year.

Rossi has said that the tech inserts do not meet 5355 (which they don't) and won't indemnify the K2, boot, but perhaps with this boot (which appears to directly compete against the K2) they will start to indemnify boots with tech inserts.

Is there any confirmation that an ISO 5355 sole exists for these boots? So far we're only told that there is a WTR sole?

I know the colors are "bright" but I thought the same thing about technicas when they came out with bright blinding orange boots and now they seem normal plus look at full tilts decendents. Plus look at safety when your face down in a tree well 😀

Not euro, they are french or italian. If you haven't noticed Europe is a friggin continent with huge discrepancies in culture, food, style, taste, nature etc.

I haven't seen that, but you can probably find that as well. It's like 50 different countries, so I'm sure there has to be some weirdness going on in one of them.

You need to look no farther than Bozeman or Bend for those kind of womens

Was hoping that Lange would come out with tech blocks for the XT a la Tecnica, this certainly influences my impending boot purchase.
