I really didn’t expect so much discussion over stir fry.

But I highly recommend the two hand toss, it’s a real pleaser.

What’s your sesame to veggie oil ratio?

    How do you mean?

Sesame oil goes on the stir fry *after* cooking. I generally use safflower oil to cook stir fry because of its very high smoke temp.

    jalapeño and onion kraut

I don’t really like hot dogs but I do like a good sausage on a bun with this and spicy brown mustard

It's a personal thing , but when I don't have anything in the crock fermenting, I feel empty, gone, and useless. Like I left a log on the fire and didn't enjoy its warmth.

Turmeric green onion black pepper pineapple poblano kraut. 2% brine.

In a month it will be great on a mf hotdog or a pork chop.

Mike , I inspired you originally and now you have me. True friendship.
Thank you for that. I care about you deeply.

The bromance is real, as much as it may be fermenting.

I forgot to add. I threw in prolly 2 tbls of aji amarillo. Shit's hard to get, but worth it. Next level vibe.

Damn those look good! There’s a local taco truck that does those I’ve been frequenting very regularly lately.

Yeah, my understanding is that OG birria is goat, but maybe that would scare the NYT readership. Plus beef is more readily available at the Lakehood Whole Foods

    Notes for the future
    - Put more sauce than I thought would be needed inside (rather than as a dipping sauce)
    - Half-cooked tortillas are a major upgrade over regular, and a time-saver vs full DIY. I’ve seen them at Costco on-and-off and at Whole Foods yesterday
    - More cheese and more salt, obvs
