Normally I would agree with you. In fact in the past we've done donuts as a mid course digestive between the earlier items and the fish, which was saved for the end so as not to mess up the oil. But this time it didn't seem to be a problem. I even did donut holes on fry night and then Bomboloni the next day, half filled with creme patisserie and the other half filled with lemon curd. Sorry no photos of the Bomboloni but here's the recipe.

These bomboloni are amazing. Definitely worth the effort.

Did a little creation today. Found a bunch of recipes and took what I liked from each to create this: Moroccan inspired elk shanks in the crockpot with harissa paste, venison stock, etc. boxed pilaf with added turmeric, whipped feta.

Whipped feta? Interesting. Do you add anything to it?

4 oz feta, clove of garlic, 2tbsp evoo, zest + juice of one lemon, 1/3 cup greek yogurt, 1/2 tsp honey, s&p to taste in a food processor until desired consistency. *chefs kiss*

Yep! No dill, or cucumbers. And it’s more fluffy and heavier on the feta. I think it would be amazing on a nice rare to mid rare roast with some balsamic glaze and an evoo drizzle on top.

I bet some dill or Greek oregano would go good in it

Choice of beverage is highly suspect. I'd rather drink stale bong water. Nice steak. Slightly overcooked.

Sous vide lamb, blanched & burnt green beans, and danthemans potato recipe.

The potatoes are legit. 10/10 maximum crunchy. I'm just hoping I wake up with his abs in the morning.
