It’s easy to make Chorizo yourself if you want (had some I made for breakfast with eggs) and Sodium Nitrite is great for preserving meat.

That makes hot dogs, mechanically separated pork by-products, sound apatizing

LB had kids, FZ is off the intertube grid on his mini ranch near salida. He's on the grid, but gives no fucks. Last time I saw him, I stopped by his machine shop and changed clothes before a trial. It dumped, and I forgot my shoes, so went to the thrifty and promised to bring them back in a couple hours. I needed a place to suit up, and dropped by his shop. It's corner to Safeway, across from the lumber yard. I've also camped in his yard. Haven't talked to Ryan in awhile. We emailed or something within the year. Still doing corporate use tax work as far as I can recall. Would like to get him back out big game hunting. He was always into turkey. Both very very good people that I miss.

Burger and fries on the back deck by myself. Thing#3 said he wasn't hungry yet but that he wanted me to cook his burger for later and didn't want fries. Then he ate half the fries, which I knew he would so I had cooked extra. Then when I was done eating he showed up outside with his burger and proceeded to unhinge his jaw and eat it in two bites, almost. He's 16.

Lemonboy had the greatest collection of old skool long boards I've ever seen. So many 200+ sticks in his garage...

Taco night. Although I got adventurous and made my own tortillas, which looked hilarious but tasted awesome. Some mushroom and some chicken.

Guess I need a tortilla press

Sometimes, simpler is better. It's starting to feel like summer around here. First dinner on the patio. Spinach, arugala, cara cara orange, walnuts, olive oil, salt and pepper. Coupled with a nice local rose and an assortment of cheese and chorizo. Honestly, I don't think it really gets much better.

LOL. So at some point you ate it and thought it was what? Just some nice lean pork loin ground up into some yummy Mexican spices and shoved into a casing?

It's shit, but it's delicious. We have chorizo and egg burritos about once a month.
