Nice! With roasted hatch green chiles?
I have 6lbs in the freezer awaiting cold weather to start making green chile.
Do you ever use beef? We've been using pulled pot roast.

Roasted pueblo chiles. The roadside stands will be done any day now.
It's pork or nothing in this household!

Strongly considering disowning the kid. Sending him to my sister's where he can eat bologna and American cheese.

The Stilton is fucking *outstanding.* The kid calls it "death cheese."

Stilton or other Bleu cheese is the last point of serious disagreement in our marriage. Sometimes I don't even recognize the person sitting across the table from me. The things we put up with..

Black garlic Cajun shrimp, served with macaroni salad and rice for dinner tonight

Death cheese??? No. I find stilton quite mild. If he wants death cheese he needs to hang out with my brother in law in Germany. He eats some cheeses that smell like raw sewage. Seriously, I asked my sister if they had plumbing issues when I got there the first time. And the cheese was wrapped in the fridge. As a consequence their kids won't eat any cheese at all. They won't even eat cheesecake because of the name. I like stinky cheese and I won't touch what he eats.

Someone posted some sausage stuffed squash a while back so I gave that a try. Homemade elk sausage, apples, onion, garlic, roasted squash topped with some grated parm.

Yeah. I agree. Why I'm considering banning him from the family.

His cheese-Fu is very weak. It's embarrassing.

This Eastern flatlander has never heard of Chili Colorado. Sounds pretty meat intense. What do you typically serve with it?
