Costco had birria tacos in the freezer aisle. I tried them...pretty good in the air fryer. I'm finding anything you can microwave is better in the air fryer.

Made some fat double decker taco supremes for dinner and forgot to take pictures. Added avocado to the OG recipe and for such a simple dinner it was really good. My wife is a phenomenal cook and I’m just a hack and even she thought I made a great dinner.

Gorgeous. Good work. Inspired me to braise beef last night. Just a little chuck roast in wine and onions and garlic over egg noodles. Not as pretty as yours, but hit the spot. Thank you.

Remember when prime rib was $6/lb at the holidays? I do — I stashed an extra rib in the freezer to reverse sear at a later date

I buy a whole one when they're on sale and break it down into vacuseals. Only way to fly.

Any favorite spring roll ingredients? I did taco meat, cabbage, and cheese (Chinese enchiladas?) and they were awesome. I wanna try something else now.
Peking duck style with the Hawaiian instant seasoning. Cucumbers, cilantro, hoison sauce. Did this one with turkey legs instead of duck.

Rice paper rolls didn't taste too great tho. Would've been much better with steamed egg roll wrappers cut into 1/4ths.

Otherwise, egg roll wrappers with hatch chiles and cheddar cheese for crispy chile rellanos

It's getting cold again like December. I've been so torn between chicken pot pie and shepard's pie so I morphed them. Going to feed in tupperware 3 people with it for tomorrow, but I am going to take a bowl for myself before I gift it.

Get yourself a clay pot. It does everything from caramelizing the shallots to low temp baking to broil. Super easy clean up too. Get you sum.

I really want spring rolls though.

    Watcha cookin'?

Roasted a chicken last night. Chicken salad, pickled onions, focaccia for lunch.

Thanks! You're a Detroit pizza style fan IIRC. I used a pan I usually use for DP style but assembled it the normal way. Was good but a touch dry. Back to DP next time!

Yeah, IMO Detroit-style is the only way to go for thicker crust pizzas.
