Google bitch. Stock, herbs, cream. Dunzo. You can add toast or crostini if you want to get fancy.

I’ll probably cook it outside tomorrow. White whine, herbs, celery, onion, garlic. My friend is a chef and she said cook for no more than one hour so it doesn’t get too fishy.

Young Owen and I will have a bisque tomorrow night.

My vote is to use the stock for gumbo. But that's cuz I'm a coon ass and don't know any better.

I can picture him saying that, "we had bisque last night", with a finger mustache.

I was at the Asian market today looking at the freezer full of fish balls, thinking "I wish I knew what to do with these." Now I know.

Boil broth, dump any veggies, noodles (udon, ramen or vermicelli), meats and seafood you want to boil.
They sell sauce for Shabu Shabu and dip cooked veggies and meat.
Great cold weather food and relatively healthy.

I picked up some Mala Hot Pot broth base, will probably do a hot pot with fish balls and other assorted delights.

    There you go!
Make sure to start with Napa cabbage and put noodles last.

If only there was a guy in town who was married to a Japanese wife, speaks Japanese, and loves to cook...

Prime 2.5” top round. EVO, Vignalta salt, pepper and Italian spices. Cook to med rare, cut thin on a bias against the grain. Muy good.Click image for larger version.
