It's a modified Russian recipe. Tons of beef bone broth but no actual beef - you can always add if you prefer but I don't think it brings much to the dish.

Bucking the reverse sear trend. I'll try that method next time, but timing is pretty critical tonight so just sticking with what I know. Good luck to all the roasters and home cooks cooking for a crowd today.

congratulations BigKuba that is a beautiful meal. Did you prepare all those courses? Is that black cod rolled in panko than pan fried? The herring reminded me how much I miss pickled fish. Going to make some tomorrow and try the ravioli recipe. to contribute to this thread. Neighbors invited me to dinner tonight. Got desert covered.

    King crab 2 ways.
    0) In leek soup with crisped proscuitto and basil.
    1) In crepes with a lime, thyme, honey sauce.

    Schindlerspiste FTW. Killing it!

Here's what we did. On the smoker at 225 for about 4 hours. One batch of popovers with pan drippings and butter in the cups, the other dry. Lady friend grew horseradish so we made fresh creamer horseradish condiment. Yum

I spent part of COVID trying to get Yorkshire puddings to work. So many failures, This recipe has proved pretty reliable.
