Nice. We're making green chile this weekend with the hatch chile's I roasted. I've been using shredded pot roast vs chicken/pork. I like the texture of the beef.

    Watcha cookin'?

No pics. Sorry. Just thought about it.
Been nailing this for the family once or twice a month for a while.

    SHREDDED CHIX CHILI FLAVORS
CHIX breasts: I rarely use chicken breasts. Especially boneless skinless. But this makes sense.
Poach chicken breasts in bone broth, (I Usually use my ow but if not kettle and fire is good). Roughly 20 mins at a gentle boil. Dried herbs plentiful in that cook too.
    Cool
    Pull
Back to pot with any juices, a little bone broth, lots of garlic, onions, chilis, kale, couple canned green chilis. A bit of whiskey and a touch of red sauce. Chili powder, cumin, herbs, chipotle, smoked paprika, alllspice and s and p. Give it 30-45 on low. Rucking awesome tacos!

I take zero credit for this, but went to my buddies house last Thursday for some early weekend beers and they had the table top hibachi going with some marinated chicken and the show stopper, A5 Kobe beef. Kind of a jaw dropping moment as I was just expecting the usual wings and beer afternoon.

Looks like one of these https://www.korin.com/Charcoal-Barbecue-Konro-Lg_3

You can look for others if you look for konro, there's another name for the circular ones.

No okra, this is more on a Cajun style as opposed to Creole (lots of okra). File is on standby if this turns out too thin.
