Our Costco has whole Serrano hams a couple times a year. $99 for an imported ham and wooden cutting rack. I've never gotten one, and regret it every time they're gone.
Anything you're getting for $99 including a stand is likely not real Serrano. Read the fine print. I made the mistake of ordering one once. Would not bang.

This is the one in my pics above. Would bang.

I did. It's a struggle with a cut like that. You lay it down and slice along the top.
Some of the protruding bits were just hacked off any old way. Those are the tastiest parts in the foreground.

I'm going to make pork tacos. Maybe with pineapple, maybe with mole, I haven't decided yet.

Boston Butt in the slow cooker. I have a tank and a half of propane and didn't want to dip heavily into that for a Butt. I am not in a position to top off the half tank. I did get my spare filled in the nick of time. Glad I checked.

Looks delicious. Nothing says shelter in place like a bottle of red wine with lunch.

    Nice counters, too.

What happened to propane? I’ve got two tanks low. Figured I’d be doing more roast anyway so wasn’t too worried but not sure how long this will go.

Also question for anyone. I cook a lot and I always cook fresh, so this has been an adventure. I got a pork shoulder vacuum sealed and the sell by date is like two weeks from now. But now second guessing myself, does that mean thawed or frozen? I bought it thawed.
