I left at 1pm. Didn't want to get hurt looking for scraps.

They were shoveling the entry and patrol working 10 most of the day. The area just above 11 looks good to go. I didn't see the cat working the road at the top. There was a rumor in the lodge that they were going to open 4. I don't see it.

Kirkwood was good today. Tread lightly when the snow settles out.

They have more than enough snow to open 4. They have for weeks really. But regardless of how good everything is this is still tahoe and it will still be a loser financially until christmas week. People have other obligations in terms of time and money until then

Does anyone have any recommendations for some base repair work on the north end of the lake? I'm in Reno but will be driving through Truckee this afternoon. Preferably somewhere with a reasonable turn around time that can still do a quality repair.

Check out Tahoe Snow Lab. It's I between Tahoe City and Alpine. Went there twice last year and they were super cool.

great day at squaw.. got some freshies down the slot and avoided all the sharks. where there weren't exposed rocks it was deep and dense/heavy enough for me not to sink onto a rock base. C2 chutes/cliffs were a bit sketchy but if you found a way around the sharks it was great.

one of my bindings did fall off the ski though. The screws on the heel piece just stripped right out, i knew it was coming but it finally happened while i was cruising down Dog Leg..

Any good recommendations on shops I could get them re-mounted at before Monday? I can drop them off this afternoon.. thanks

or if anyone of you guys want to make a buck and do it?? they're old.. but worth reviving. 08 seth vicious 189 and some marker bindings

    Long enough. Eagle was fun.

I don't think it was te entrance, but that did get beat. They were only loading two per chair. So I think it was just a KW chair issue. Those are common.

    DIY field base repair

While y'all are out making shark fin soup... a PSA

Pop both skis off. Damaged ski base up. Other ski is your tool. Lay it across the damaged ski, tip it up about 30-40 degrees, and use the edge to scrap off any protruding ptex. Reverse steps to install skis. Return to shark hunting.
