That's about right. I'm going to ski all three of those days for research purposes. Going to break the 30-day mark this season by mid March, not bad for a bay area jong with little kids.

We personally split time between CA and Hawaii. But you have to admit shipping materials back and forth to Hawaii would make for a seriously expensive board! It wouldn't make since to manufacture there. Plus we can get out and R&D at Kirkwood as soon as a new model is pressed. Faster turnaround.

As mentioned, snowboarding is on life support. Slice those babies down the middle and I'll ride them.

After a sampling down low today, I can confirm that if the top opens tomorrow, it will not suck. Found and skied a line right of waterfall that I never noticed before. Snow was good for a high speed 15 footer today by afternoon. Have fun kiddos.

No. A straight line notch with a bit of rock to ollie with a nice steep landing. Maybe right of the diving board. Last time I hit that was in March '11, so it was much more filled in then.

Rain/rime/wet snow line was pretty high after all. Breakable and wet crust this morning all the way up to 9K on the west shore, it will be refrozen solid tomorrow. Good snow in spots, very thin and crusty in others. Only 6" of snow on top of the crust and zero inches in places. Windy but the transported snow wasn't propagating below 9K.

In the Carson Pass area a rain crust was not evident - instead 7" of windblown transitioning to fluff in the trees. Worth three laps, got tracked out fast today, breezy.

Looks like I wasn't the only fool who thought it would be good on the west shore this morning. Also shocked how much melted out since last Saturday even after the big dump on Sunday. I was totally faked out.

Hadn't been to kwood all year and prolly not on a Saturday in 10 years. Was a bit of a shitshow till the back popped and everyone went there. Disillusionment turned to joy with the effort requiring steps. Way more lazy traversers cutting low for low hanging fruit then I remember which at first was annoying but ended up a blessing
