I'm not quite sure what you're talking about, but the cops certainly didn't say, "we fucked up the investigation." There have been a number of article by a number of journalists suggesting that the procedural errors by police may result in Kraft getting off the hook despite his obvious guilt. Neither I nor these articles contain any explicit or implicit support for Kraft. I'm not going to bother finding one and posting it because it seems likely that you'll interpret that some slightly insane way.

I am skeptical of the "procedural errors" that might let the abuser of a sex slave off. Legit or a cover up? I've seen that sort of blue behavior many, many times. There is a thread here about police behavior. Don't bother with a link without your opinion based on some research by you. Lets just say I have had cops tell me they were crooked and while I was born at night, I wasn't born last night. Seen this story of the law bending for the powerful too many times to discount the possibility.
