He specifically purchased a basin that prevents spray back and was optimized for median ball height. Like I said, every detail considered.

I haven't been following his specific ordeal so I don't know the backstory.

Still sticking by my assertion that litigation is stupid and harmful, even if it sometimes necessary.

Yeah, I mean it sucks. Definitely going to be harmful to our relationship as co-parents. And, it's fucking stupid that two reasonable adults can't figure shit out like this without attorneys.

    But, it is absolutely necessary.

You did the right thing IMO. Once emotions come into play reasonable goes out the window . Good luck and stay strong

What part of: "Identify the collaborative lawyer who represents each party in the process" do you not understand?

Or, "Contain a statement by each collaborative lawyer confirming the lawyer's representation of a party in the collaborative law process."

Laps. Seriously, stick to your turf and don't tell me how to best represent my clients. And I love litigating. It is the true Vegas of legal. Maybe you should represent both parties in a collaborative real estate transaction while you are at it.

I have a client wanting to purchase some land from a desperate seller who is out of state and she fucked up the title. As much as I would love to do the ancillary probate to clear it up for the seller, I can't.

Oh shit, we have those, they are called "transaction brokers". What a crock of shit. Thank god they aren't lawyers. Or did you not get the e-mail blast from the disciplinary committee from the supreme court yesterday warning of a huge uptick in unauthorized practice of law instances? Seriously, suck a fart.

Well, it’s been two weeks. I’m currently swimming laps in a Scottsdale and cruising for chics downtown.

As much I’ve gone through some separation anxiety, the rear view mirror is clear. This chic controlled every second of my life. Bitching about me not leaving work to walk her dog. As good as crazy can be in bed, not worth it.

She’s texted me a few times, and when I respond she gets nasty.

I give it another week before she shows up on my door in a thong.

    Lord give me strength.

Once had a ex girlfriend show up at the door with a long jacket on to reveal a racing outfit. I folded. I hope you can be stronger than I was Cono.

I'm not a family law guy, because I don't like to feed on other's people's misery, and I usually try to punch up, rather than down. And I usually never get why MTM is such an angry dickbag all the time but I see what he is talking about in my earlier post, where what I wrote about talking to both sides wasn't clear at all.

Don’t regret it, I let a girl that was 90210 who showed up like that get away and it haunts me. (Small part). Now I have to wait for her to get divorced.

I don’t think this girl has ever been dumped before. After trashing her perfectly nice ex, I think it was unavoidable. She was taking my kid time etc. just didn’t know the rules.

Don't do it! I tried to be a good family guy and included my ex in the first xmas after separation with the lads. We ended up in the rack. One of the most bizarre experiences of my life. Did put a big ass nail in the coffin though.

Don't mean to mix the 90's thread, but there is some truth here:

If wives didn’t have dickhead aggressive litigators men wouldn’t need dickhead aggressive litigators.

    And fuck the “judges” also.

Just be fair and kind and move on with life. But no.

The whole structure is so overtly adversarial. It’s hard not to fight when you’re tossed into the ring, a situation that’s more or less guaranteed to bring out the worst in us despite all of our best intentions.

It’s about winning and losing. And there are few winners. Every victory is pyrrhic.

It shouldn’t have to be like that.
    focus.

It really is a fucked up system. I'd word it as 'hard not to fight when you're attacked'. I sure didn't want it that way though. Tried to be 'collaborative, but like so many other issues in this thread that requires reasonableness on both sides.

Right, my ex's husband was picking up our kid and he was running through all the current drama at their house and it was all I could do to keep a straight face because the poor bastard sounded exactly like me pre-divorce.

My lawyer knows her lawyer and said something like "oh, she's a fighter, she's not going to let your ex make a deal without going to court".

    The whole thing is gross.
