Just FYI, when I read your response getting all huffy about KQ and not taking any bullshit I thought you were being subtly sarcastic and funny. The hyperbolic over the top response seemed perfectly delivered and for a brief moment it looked like you'd even trolled a couple people.

So of course it was deeply disappointing to discover you were serious. Not that I care personally, but a great piece of wit died. That's a shame. All that to say, defensive asshole << self-deprecating humorist, but take your pick.

Right because from my observations of OMCs (Old Married Couples) you really need someone to argue with or yell at.

    Well. Yeah.

Beside the social, legal, and financial incentives....

In any event, my sincere hope is that my ex wife gets married to her soul mate. Preferably tomorrow.
    focus.

A bit of Column A and a bit of Column B.

KQ doesn’t need or want my protection, but I’m a bit protective of her because I like her. I also don’t think much of mtngirl.

I’m “fortunate” in that I’m not going to owe her anything. And I’m not asking for or expecting anything. I don’t need much - ski gear, climbing and mountaineering gear, cast iron, books, art, antiques... Maybe a truckload of stuff.

My son is what’s important to me. She can have custody. But I want to be able to see him and I do not want her to be able to move away with him.

Just be sure to pay your child support or you won't have fuck all to say where they live. Then your son will grow up thinking your a POS. I have seen that burn down many of a relationship between child and father.

My ex told the kids that if they wanted to, maybe they could change their names to her maiden name so they’d have the same last name. Just like gramps’ last name and their favorite cousins’ last name.

    Wtf.
    focus.

Tell her you're not paying for them if they're not named after you.

I'd go with something regal like Mountbatten-Windsor.
