I just picked up a co-signed pair of Solutions that are great except one of the shoes has some rough stitching in the heel where the pull tabs attach to the shoe that is sure to cut me up after a few days.
Was wondering if anyone has run into this problem and how they fixed it.
Posting here instead of tech talk for obvious reasons.

Wasn't climbing shoes, but hiking boots, years ago, and I took sand paper to an offending seam. I'm sure it weakened the thread considerably, but it also smoothed it down, and fuzzed it up, which was enough to solve the problem. After repairing a pack strap once, I had a similar problem, repair was made with some heavy thread, and rested right on my collarbone. I used contact cement to put a piece of suede over the seam.

Leather stitching.
I always just increase how long i can wear them until i get a callus. Not the best, but its what has worked for me
